Ecstatic Bellydance is an ancient and modern sacred dance which awakens the bodies natural wisdom and ecstasy. It is a meditative and expressive form of bellydance that integrates many years of study in dance, yoga, and tantra. We will begin with transformational yoga practice and go through basic Bellydance repertoire including isolations, taxim, and shimmies based on sacred geometric patterns and symbols. Then integrating these movements, we will journey through the body combining movement with breath, sound, and intention to create an embodied ecstatic experience.

Afterwards we will have time to socialize and enjoy raw food snacks while DJ Shakti Bliss spins some down temps beats for us.

The Yard Dogs Road Show is a hobo cabareta living patchwork of vaudeville and rock n' roll. Formed eight years ago, the creators of Yard Dogs Road Show took inspiration from the saloon vaudeville that toured the Wild West in the late 1800s, and slammed that idea into the underworld of modern American road culture. The show includes sword swallowers, dancing dolls, fire eaters and sunset hobo poetry, all animated by the live sounds of the Yard Dogs cartoon heavy band. The enchanting entertainment is pure visual and sonic voodoo.

A new mix by ::Shakti:Bliss:: recorded LIVE at the Stillwater in Ashland on September 23rd, 2009 opening up for March Fourth Marching Band.

Mixed on Ableton Live 7 utilizing three tracks mashing up Dubstep loops with old skool Gypsy music and a sprinkle of some Lounge ala Shakti. Live performance art, dancing behind the decks and flirtatious crowd interaction not included in this mix, so use you'll have to use your imagination.
